HEAVY DUTY (PHD) TAKE-UP
FRAMES
Precision® Heavy
Duty Take-up Frames are of welded and bolted steel
construction. The adjusting screw, which is fully protected,
offers maximum strength and ease of adjustment. Heavy Duty
Take-up Frames will accommodate bearings with 1 ½" thru
6" bore sizes and beyond (Sizes 200-600 utilizing a Heavy
Duty angle iron construction). Standard frames offer travel
distances of 12"-60". Special frames are available, consult
factory for details.

XTRA HEAVY DUTY (PHD)
TAKE-UP FRAMES
Precision® Xtra
Heavy Duty Take-up Frames are built around square tubing,
for added strength in larger sizes. They are welded steel
construction. The adjusting screw, which is fully protected,
offers maximum strength and ease of adjustment. Heavy Duty
Take-up Frames will accommodate bearings with 6" thru 10"
bore sizes and beyond (Standard sizes available with the
square tube construction are 800 & 1000). Standard
frames offer travel distances of 12"-60". Special frames are
available, consult factory for
details.

TAKE-UP FRAMES
Precision® Hydraulic Heavy Duty Take-up Frames are of welded and
bolted steel construction. The adjusting screw, which is
fully protected, offers maximum strength and the hydraulic
cylinder provides ease of adjustment AND accuracy of
tightening. Precision Hydraulic Heavy
Duty Take-up Frames will accommodate bearings with 1 ½"
thru 10" bore sizes and beyond (available in Heavy Duty
& Xtra Heavy Duty Construction --- Sizes 300
through 1000). (Cylinders and Pump Kits are also available
---see below.) Standard frames offer travel distances of
12"-60". Special frames are available, consult factory for
details.

TOP ANGLE (PTA) TAKE-UP
FRAMES
Precision® Top Angle Take-up Frames are of welded steel
construction. The adjusting screw is plated to resist
corrosion and is protected by the top angle from falling
material. Top Angle Take-up Frames may be used with sleeve
type, ball or tapered roller bearings (where the housing
fits a round bottom frame) with bore sizes from 1 3/4" thru
4". Precision Top Angle Frames offer travel distances of
12"-48".

PROTECTED ANGLE (PPA) TAKE-UP
FRAMES
Precision® Protected Angle Take-up Frames are of welded steel
construction. The adjusting screw is plated to resist
corrosion and is protected by the top angle from falling
material. Top Angle Take-up Frames may be used with sleeve
type, ball or tapered roller bearings (that fit a channel
bottom frame) with bore sizes from 1 3/4" thru 4-1/2" and
BEYOND. Precision Protected Angle Frames offer travel
distances of 12"-48".

The Precision®
PWS frame provides a compact and economical frame that will
accept all manufacturers bearing cartridge. This frame is
especially useful on packaging and other lightweight special
conveyors. Travel adjustment varies from 1 ½" to
30".

The Precision®
PST frame provides a compact and economical frame that will
accept all manufacturers bearing cartridge. This frame is
especially useful on packaging and other lightweight special

bearing bore from ½ " to 5".

LIGHT DUTY (PLD) TAKE-UP
FRAMES
Precision® Light Duty Take-up Frames give the convenience of use
with ball, spherical and sleeve bearings. The adjusting
screw is protected from falling material by the steel angle.
The adjusting screw is always in tension regardless of
direction of bearing load. Light Duty Take-up Frames can
accommodate bearings with ½" thru 3 ½" bore sizes
and offer travel distance of 6"-48".

WIDE SLOT CENTER PULL (PCP)
TAKE-UP FRAMES
Precision® Wide Slot Center Pull Take-up Frames are of welded steel
construction with reinforced steel end plates. The bolted
cap rail allows easy access from either end for quick and
easy bearing installation. Precision Center Pull Take-up
Frames offer 12" thru 36" travel for bearings with 1 1/8"
thru 5" bore size. (Can be retrofitted to Hydraulic
Application)

PULL--PASSIVE (PHCP) TAKE-UP FRAMES
Precision® Wide Slot Center Pull Take-up Frames are of welded steel
construction and are designed to be retrofitted to hydraulic
applications. The frame shown is a standard PCP frame with
modified pull nut and pusher to fit a standard rectangular
flange mounted cylinder. PHCP offer 12" thru 36" travel for
bearings with 1 9/16" thru 5" bore size. (Cylinders and Pump
Kits are available --- see below)

cylinder nut to fit a standard rectangular flange mounted
cylinder. PHCA offer 12" thru 36" travel for bearings with 1
9/16" thru 5" bore size. (Cylinders are available --- see
below)

HYD Cylinders are series 2HD Head Trunion mount cylinders
--- NFPA #MT1. Precision standard Hydraulic Cylinders have

HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS (HYC) FOR
PHCP & PHCA TAKE-UP FRAMES
The Precision®
HYC Cylinders are series 2HD Rod End Rectangular Flange
Mount --- NFPA #MF1. Precision standard Hydraulic Cylinders
have lips seals, SAE ports, and Breather(s). The cylinder is
shown and is available with the PHCP or PHCA rod end
nuts needed in these applications. The nut on the left is a
pusher, which is used in a passive system, such that the
system is a hydraulic assist. The nut on the right is used
to fit into the bearing house, so that they cylinder
replaces the rod, and it becomes an "ACTIVE"
system.

HYDRAULIC PUMP KITS (HYPK) FOR
HYDRAULIC TAKE-UP FRAMES
The Precision®
HYPK are available in Medium and Large Reservoirs, and in
Manual, AC or DC pumps. The Pump Kit includes, Pump,
Reservoir, Gauge, valves, hoses, fittings necessary to
connect to 2 double action cylinders, i.e. one complete
take-up system. The HYPK works with both the PHYD and the
PHCP systems.
